Event Schedule for GEC11

Race date: April 2, 2011

8:00 AM; Park gates open.

8:00 AM – 10 AM; Team check-in at field beside Mountain Bike parking lot (race HQ).
NOTE: Team check-in will consist of registration paperwork confirmation and racer sign-in. Teams will get race maps and UTM coordinates at check-in. Some of the checkpoints may already be marked on the map.

8:45 AM; UTM plotting review (optional)

9:15 AM; Pre-race safety briefing at race HQ.

10:00 AM; Race Start at race HQ.

4:00 PM; Race Finish at race HQ.
NOTE: If the Start is delayed, the race cutoff time and Finish time will be set at 6 hours later.

4:30 PM; Post-race meal and awards ceremony at Finish area.

- Random gear checks will be performed during the event.
