Only 2 Rent-Free Canoes Left!
As of 4pm on Feb 20th, 18 teams have paid their entry fees to race, which only leaves two more rent-free canoes to be claimed!
Frog Hollow Outdoors advised me this week that all of their other canoes have been rented out for April 2nd, so if you want to rent a canoe, or a second canoe for the race, they can't help you. They do have one-person kayaks available, and these are legal to use in the Gleneagles Challenge. Other outfitters in the area rent canoes, but you'll likely have to transport them yourselves.

GEC V
This is the fifth running of the Gleneagles Challenge, the second time it has been produced by Bushwhack Adventure Racing, and second time as an event in the Checkpoint Tracker Series. As avid racers ourselves, Marcey and I try to design courses that we would find interesting, challenging, and fun........the course for this year will be just that - FUN!!! Even if you are a regular visitor to Harris Lake County Park, you will be biking, trekking, and paddling to areas you have never been to before. Get your team in gear and sign up now.
